OmiseGO’s Latest Implementation of Plasma

OmiseGO has advanced plasma, a layer 2 scaling solution, by securing its latest implementation with Quantstamp. Plasma aims to enable faster and cheaper transactions by creating additional blockchains that exist “on top of Ethereum” but that ultimately rely on Ethereum for security.

OmiseGO’s latest implementation, More Viable Plasma, aims to deliver a better user experience compared to its predecessor, Minimum Viable Plasma, which Quantstamp also audited. For more information about the audit, check out our blog post.  

South By Southwest 2020 Finalist 

We’re excited to announce that Quantstamp will be headed to Austin in March to participate in the SXSW Pitch! Out of the 937 companies that applied to present, Quantstamp was selected as one of 50 finalists spanning 10 separate categories. Past finalists have gone on to raise over $6.6 billion in funding and alumni include Klout, Hipmunk, and Wildfire among others. The two-day event will be held the first weekend of the SXSW Conference & Festival, Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15. On Sunday, March 15, the award ceremony will take place, where the winning startups from each category and a Best in Show winner will be announced and honored.

Smart Contract Security Alliance Member Spotlight - Fujitsu & NRI

We are proud to be a founding member of the Smart Contract Security Alliance, an organization dedicated to pushing forward standards in blockchain security. Recently we interviewed Fujitsu R&D, which has been pushing forward blockchain implementation in Asia. For the last two years they’ve been performing cutting edge research into Blockchain security and development, forming partnerships with banks and enterprises in China. Read more here.


We also spoke with NRI Secure - the security arm of Nomura Research Institute. Security Engineer Teruhiro Tagomori talked about their comprehensive view of blockchain and application security. Read the article here.
